I thought I'd try out these two expansion, but I seem to have forgotten most of the controls since I quit (about 2 years ago).
I just got to Mournhold and am supposed to enter the sewers... the thing is that I took a heavy beating facing that assassin. I lost about half of my health even tho I'm a lvl 45 barbarian with great skills.
I can't remember how to heal myself during battle nor how to assign the number keys to the items. I still have the last settings... which are working fine. But I wanna be able to heal myself and curing disease/poison and revoking paralyze.
Since it's been nearly two years since I last played.. I only remember the basics, so any help would be really appreciated. :)
Thanks!

Ok, F1 to assign quick controls. To heal yourself, go into your inventory and equip a healing potion, use a healing spell or rest(t)

Thanks I'll try that! Is there any kind of potion which is good to stock up? And can I buy heals from salesmen? I guess I could try to find a pharmacist or something at the great bazaar. :)
Also, my world map still shows morrowind instead of mournhold... is it supposed to do that?
One last thing, I spoke to some guy called "Thrug" or something like that.. I said I'd help him find this guy who went into the sewers. Is there any way to get rid of him? Not smashing his head that is. :D

Healing potions can be bought from alchemists, apothacarys and most traders, their potentance vary by how much they cost, cheap and bargain are useless, normal is also fairly useless at high levels with quality and the other one(which I can never remember the name of) being very usefull. Also if you equip a mortar and pestle you can make your own potions, there are also other equipment(Alembic, calcinator and retort) which are used for optimising effects. Just mix 2 ingredants together with the same effects.
Mournhold is all interior cells, this doesn't mean much to you but for us modders it means heaps. It is that way so it is completely impossible to escape to other parts of Morrowind(which don't exist) even with the console.
Thrug is annoying and you can only get rid of him by killing him, doing the quest or by losing him, to lose him just run really far away from him then change cell, if he doesn't appear next to you then you have lost him, then the only way he will follow you again is if you move with activiting distance to him.

Yeah it's all coming back to me now.. I would craft some new potions if I only had my gear with me, but it's all back in my mansion. I'm using Daedric armor so I can't really carry a lot. I need all the extra capacity to loot armor and weapons to sell. :)
I lost ThruD somewhere in the mansion sewers... btw is there any way to get past the traps around the two chest down there? If they're even worth opening that is...
Thanks for your time! :)

I think there is some smart way to get past the traps. But I just jumped and healed after each one. I did dodge some by staying far away then jumping so fast that is missed me. And you can avoid a couple. At end gives you a nice legendary weapon to sell after a decendly hard fight(I did it with hand-to-hand so it might have just been hard for me)

traps you say, glowing they were?
you'll have to be SNEAKY to get past them
you can get past them if you use sneak(ctrl) but it doesent always work if your sneak is not up to scratch. If you notice however the traps are based on fire, frost, etc. If you get potions with fire resistance for the fire traps and so on then you should only receive minimum damage.
I did this last with a nord and I was reall scared at 1 point, no where to run, 1 heal potion left and 3 traps  I ran for it and the traps were the frost ones, no damage :laff: :laff: :laff:

Cool, I'm gonna try sneaking past em. And this time I'll bring some nice heals hehe. I think they did lightning damage...
I used my boots of blinding speed and chrysamere vs that chick.. she didn't hit me once hehe. And the gold I got for the weapon she droppped increased the weight of my pouch a bit too. :)

My nord with dragonbone cuirass should have no trouble being immune to fire, frost and resistant to shock.
