Hello fellow taffers :)

I have recently decided to replay the Thief series for the 167th time and I need your help! Certain available enhancement packs have come to my attention that I have yet to try. I have downloaded the packs in question and now require your assistance on properly getting them to work. Your help is greatly appreciated! Just as extra info, I'm running Windows 7, using a GTX570 and I plan to install the games to "D:\Games\Thief Gold" and "D:\Games\Thief 2", so not in the secure C:\folders.

Ok, I recently reformated my PC so there is no trace of Thief games anywhere on it. The games I need help with are Thief Gold and Thief 2 from the Complete Collection disk. Here are the packs/patches I wish to apply to them:

*DDFix (1.4.4) (I've tried newer versions on previous installs and they all gave me choppy gameplay, never solved so I stick with what works flawlessly)

*DarkWidescreen

*Ultimate Difficulty Mod

~Packs/Patches that are new to me~

*Thief Enhancement Pack

*Orgys Texture Patch HW

*Daemonite Model Patch

If there are more, please tell me about them! Anyway, I've read a TON of info on how to get all this to work properly and I THINK I know how it's done. However, I would really just like to see someone give me the step by step if you can. I have no problems editing .cfg files where needed so the cleaner I can keep my folders the better. Finally, I'm completely clueless on how to get Fan Missions to run and what software they need.

I've visited those threads before, just wasn't sure if they were still up to date.

EDIT: OK so I began by trying setting up Thief Gold. I did exactly what that thread suggested and booted up the game. It worked flawlessly!! The new water is there, the new textures are there, the videos somehow work and i didn't even install the codec from the complete collection CD, all is fantastic EXCEPT...

As I originally mentioned, any DDfix after 1.4.4 cause this strange mouse stutter when I look around. It may sound like no big deal, but trust it it's very ennoying. And , no surprise, it's back now. Do you have any idea what might cause this?

Also, I really wish to play with the Ultimate Difficutly mod ON, but it needs to replace DARK.cfg....something that this fix pack also needed to replace. What do I do?
EDIT2: OOps, sorry, it's DARK.GAM that the mod requires to be changed, so that shouldn't be a problem as it was used/updated thus far.

EDIT3: FIXED THE STUTTERS :D Soo happy right now! Turning Vsync off in display properties did the trick.

Ok, so now that everything works and I'm sure Thief 2 will be fine too, I have a new question ( I'm a pain, I know. Sorry)

What do I need for T2X to work and are there any packs patches available for it? How about if I want to try fan missions, is all this stuff compatible?
