I second NOFX, though the singers voice may seem strange if you're used to the over reverb'd high pitch, english 80's punk bands we all know.

I've been listening to a Minor Threat station on Pandora... I really like 'em. And I love Fugazi... I've been a fan since I was in high school. Totally forgot about them.

Dethtoll, also forgot D.R.I. Right now listening to their song "Wages of Sin" on Full Speed Ahead. Being a metal fan I'd think you'd likey.

Might check out Black Tusk as well.
