Need a new remote for my cd player...

Hi.

The other day my MCM276R cd player remote decided to die on me - I replaced the battery, but it didn't work. I've gone online looking for a replacement, but that remote's not sold separately. I was wondering if anyone knows of a universal remote that could work with my cd player.

Check your other programmable remotes, many of them are just rebranded URC. Look for the JP1 header. I had a Visio TV that wasn't advertised as programmable, but all I had to do was peel off a sticker and there were the extra buttons. The only caveat is you can lose control of the TV if you do a hard-reset.

Thanks, I'll buy ine of those and see if it works. I tried my tv remote but it doesn't work though.
