Need a good class name. - by LancerChronics

Alright, so I think I've finally decided. The name of the class will be "Testudo Magus", because it is unusual but still sound neat. It also fits the profile very well. The skills will be Block, Mysticism, Alteration, Destruction, Illusion, Conjuration, and maybe Armorer. I'm going to leave Heavy Armor(End), Alchemy(Int), and Restoration(Wil) out because I can use them to give me a chance to maximize my bonuses before I level.
The race will be Breton because I just screwed around with the face generator randomly one day and a good face actually came out, go figure. Birthsign will be the Mage of course. Apprentice would give me 50 more, but I don't want the 50 weakness(100-50 from breton). And I noticed that Atronach is weak compared to the constant regenration of mana from the other 2.
The name of this character will be Phaen, Ajax, or maybe somthing else.
Thx for the help everyone.

The game wanted to call me a scout but I SAID NO.
I made sure my guy had Security and Armorer, along with a bunch of fighting skills, and called him a BATTLESMITH.
Currently battling my way from town to town, smithing locks, weapons and armour as I go.

Crud, I just found out that Testudo Magus doesn't fit in the allowed space, so he's currently running around with a basic name "Storm Lord".
changed character's name to "Mjolnir"(pronounced me-ole-near, but with the first two parts pronounced as one syllable.), which is the name of thor's hammer.
First two levels were power-levels. Gonna aim to max out int and end asap, while alternating between str and Wil.

I still think you're better off with Ajax.
You know where you stand with Procter and Gamble products.

Wow, Lancer, you really spend time and effort on the details. Between this and the time you spent on your faces, you must be heavy into RP-ing your characters faithfully, no?

Well, depends on what you mean by roleplaying. I don't roleplay in the most obvious sense, like saying "I shall smite thee, abysmal fiend!" online and pretending I'm my character. Everytime I play a new game, I give myself a specific set of rules and guidelines I will follow. The names, faces, etc have to be curbed to fit in with those guidelines, and they also act as a reminder of sorts, so when I'm half-way through the game I don't accidently break my own rules. I only bother with backgrounds when I'm really bored. In DnD video game terms, I plan every level of my charater out before I play it so I make sure it works with what I have in mind, and of course, doesn't suck. I don't know if that is roleplaying, but that's why I'm taking so long with this character.

I tend to make a slightly thiefly class and name it "Turbo Ninja" brcause my speed is always rather high.
Hmm, since your Testudo Magus didn't fit, how about Zauberer. It's German.

That's exactly what I meant. I have started playing more and more like this myself recently. Expecially with this Gothic 2:Night of the Raven run I am currently in.

Oh! that reminds me, I got to finish playing Gothic 2 this summer. I got up to the part where you get back the amulet, but stopped there because I wasn't strong enough to beat all 3 guys. This, however, was my own fault because I had broken one of my rules and drank all my strength potions too early. Just couldn't resist the temptation of all those thekla's stews and dragon roots and king sorrels(which i did mix btw).

You really need to try Night of the Raven. God, it really adds a lot to the game world.
