As many of you may know, a Grand Soul Gem with either a Golden Saint or an Ascended Sleeper allows the player to use the Constant Effect Enchantment. A really neat trick to do with that, is to put a summon *creature* on an item as constant. U get it forever, and as soon as it died, just requip the item, and it summons immediately with no loss in Magicka, or time. I have a Flame Atronach, and Clannfear on two seperate rings, and i have them both hotkeyed. I will just switch between the two whenever i need to cast, and Voila!

What I'd really like is a Golden Saint on a permanent ring. :)

If you wander in a city with them the guards will kill them.. =(

I have been wondering about that. I summon stuff all the time within cities. Hell right in front of the guards. They don't do anything. What is it? They hate specifically Daedra?

where do you get grand soul gems anyways?the only one I have found was the one for sale at the Balmora Mages Guild. I went ahead and made my ultimate sword with it...
Daedric Katana with 23 fire damage and 23 cold dmg.. hehe. I take out dramora lords in about 4 hits.
but anyways, where should I be looking to find grand soul gems?

Maybe you need to be a bit higher level. I'm around level 30 and find them everywhere. In ancestor tombs, deadric shrines, caves, houses...

there arent for sale anywhere (Grand soul gems) but i have found about 10 in different quests throughout the game. Just check every rich person's house (Tel Fyr has two) and every dungeon and cave.

ffs, wtf do I want some chimpy low level 'thing' following me around for... unless it is a cliff racer, I run faster than it, and I'll have to hold it's hand.. bah... If the game had DRAGONS!! maybe I could use the extra firepower... but me and my axe say... ffs
