I have reached the rank of Master in House Telvanni, and i cannot advance to Magister. Whenever i talk to Aryon for duties, he says "im prepared to name u for magister" but when i clikc Advancement, he says "U have foresworn the title of Magister" I did every quest he offered me, all of my mouth quests, and all of the other mouths' quests. I also tried talking to Archmagister Gothren, but got me nowhere. Does anyone else know how to fix this, because i am lost.

It's basically a bug, you have to down yourself to wizard and then advance again, basically you advanced too early, you can go from wizard to master, but it doesn't tell you that if you do, you give up possibility of magister rank, so bring up the console and type in...
player->PCLowerRank "Telvanni"
this will bring your rank down, then it's just the simple matter of hitting advancement once or twice.
