Played the game twice but I still have not figured out a way to not let the NSF soldiers get killed. You know, I want to hear something else rather than:
"I cleaned the place out"
"You did? Then you can forget about the ammo"
Funny thing is, I did not fire a single shot! I just lured the NSF to Navarre and the UNATCO troopers and they did the killing!
I even tried going through the secret entrance but it doesn't work. Any solutions?

[SPOILER]After you find Ambrosia, return to battery park through the secret entrance. DO NOT go to the kiosk at the center of Castle Clinton; Anna will try to "meet" you and begin to kill NSF in her path. Meet Anna Navarre near WWII memorial (the one with eagle and giant stone slabs) outside Castle Clinton instead.
After you meet Anna, you can go back to the kiosk through the secret passage to earn some experience points, since Anna wouldn't move after you've found Ambrosia. :cheeky: [/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]You enter the Clinton via the underground access, find the ambrosia and all the goodies. Then go up and talk with the kid. You can enter the kiosk, provided you stay crouched and don't let anyone see you. It's worth 40 points; everything counts. Then just go back out and to the pier the way you came in and find Anna. Even after that, don't get too close to the main entrance of the castle or the fight will still break out.[/SPOILER]

Basicly when they die it counts as you killing, don't let them die.

Egh. No way at all to loot them and the contents from the supply boxes? Any strategies on how to get through that area with clean KO's?

Not as far as I know. If either NSF or Anna sees you, it's all fighting from there on. Once I managed to sneak in some way and crack a crate, but that's as far as I've been able to go. Tranging NSF from the wall entrance didn't do much good either. They opened fire and drew Anna in. But I'm curious too about this. Just too much stuff lying around to ignore it:p So yes; pointers would be nice:)

It is possible (but also very difficult) to loot those supply boxes AFTER you've debriefed by Anna, which lured her away from Castle Clinton. You have to return to the kiosk through the secret passage, keep crouched, and fetch boxes one by one, back to the basement beneath the kiosk as fast as possible to avoid detection by NSF members. If you break those boxes at the ground level of Castle Clinton you'll invite NSF to investigate.

There is a way, but it hurts andc could well get you killed. Go in the front door and knock the NSF out while staying between the NSF and UNATCO, if you're lucky UNATCO won't shoot with you in the way, that doesn't always happen.
You need to run around blocking the shots too, not like gaurding one terrorist is going to change the body count much.

Can't you tranq/prod all the nsf? I know I managed to get ammo off carter in one game and piss Anna off too....
