A great many people are not stupid. A great many people would not have messed this up so catastrophically.
But they do not seem to have been the ones in power when it mattered.
My point is that identifying the problem is not enough. Is there a solution that works?

National intelligence agencies, what a load of bull, the bigger the organization the worse becomes internal communication and they are also slower to respond.

No it wasn't. Your point was tedious "oh it doesn't matter, everyone would always screw up anyway" nonsense which was rightly given short shrift by both Monkeysee and myself.
It is also perfectly legitimate to offer criticism without knowing precisely what the exact solution would be. For a start, it's healthy for body and mind. More importantly, it's the foundation of great swathes of critical opinion.
However, just for you, here is a bargain basement problem/solution chart:
Problem: The current US Administration have the foreign policy skills of a demented 3 year old child.
Solution; Step 1: STOP FUCKING VOTING FOR THEM.
Now, I realise that in your world of bedroom nihilism the opposition party are probably considered to be just as bad. I don't have any particular love for the Democrats either. BUT, the one thing I'm confident of is their ability to screw up abroad slightly less, advocate torture less and so on. Which would be a good start.
Let's begin with those baby steps and then maybe plan the revolution later.
