Nasty beast is after me. - by soundman

I squashed 'em once and got to the bedrooms where I got some keys ( 3 in total I think) and I have an ingot, power crystals and the mold, but I can't find where to use them both. I have mucked around in the foundry and I can't even kill that monster with the big press this time.
Its hard to experiment because he dogs me until i'm dead meat, leaving me little time.
I have walked around now and I did find an area with a ladder at the end of a corrider, is the machine in that room with the green laser things???
I would like to chuck that... thing in the furnace, but I don't see it happening.
do I kill it with the sword I don't have?

You have to go to the office and pull the lever to open the grate over the lava pit, have the beast follow you and you jump over the pit and then he will fall in and cook to a golden brown. If you need more specific help let me know.:thumb:

Thanks for the tip, but where is the office you are talking about?
There is a lever which doesn't work in the big room with the squashing machine, and a room with some stairs that lead to a book just off to the side of there. I've pulled all the levers and can't find a grate which opens up.
I actually led him down the corrider to the area with the ladder and he gets trapped down there leaving me in relative peace, I still can't make this sword yet, do I even need to? or is it just optional?

Ah, I see. That lever is a bit temperamental, sorry to keep asking stoopid questions.
that beast is shish-kebab, muahahaha.

Both the lever next to the grate and the lever in the office (the room with the book) need to be pulled to open the grate.
about the necessity of molding a sword:
continue with the main quest and it all should become clear.
yes, you should mold a sword, but not just any sword
