Damn, boy. A Thief tattoo, that's hardcore. Now I want one too!

That's pretty freaking cool. A tattoo that actually means something beyond "I should get a tattoo!!!"

Very cool, congrats on your official geekyness. ;)

It is a keeper glyph. The 'final glyph' if I am not mistaken.
Actually no, that glyph has been around since The Dark Project.
Edit: OK, I think the guy with the huge freaking pi symbol on his back is the winner, wow.

Yeah!
Of all the geekiest, on msnbc! That's pretty staggering.
Well done on being teh Geek of Ink.

I like your tattoo but I don't even know what a bipolar junction transistor IS so I'm going to have to say that one is geekier.

Hey for those of us who haven't played DS, could you explain the concept behind the symbol?
Right now it means "go play DS or get murdered."
aguywhoplaysthief on 14/8/2009 at 16:35
You do know that Deadly Shadows wasn't a particularly good game, right?

I suppose I underestimated the power of basic symbols. Or the number of TTLG people who read msnbc.com on a daily basis.
Hate to break it to you, but I think yours is winning because it's
not as geeky as most of the others. I think that's a good thing. Don't get me wrong, it's always geeky getting a videogame symbol, but since most people don't recognize Thief, it's not as overt - it just looks like your average everyday nordic rune tattoo. It's simply not as embarrassing as most of the others.
(I'm somewhat of a fan of geeky tattoos, with both of mine culled from artworks by Matisse and Man Ray, and my GF having, among many others, the chemical symbol for LSD on her ankle and a caduceus on her wrist in place of a medical alert bracelet.)
