I am a great fan of thief game.
I ve downloaded the t2x version of thief 2 the metal age.
first i had problem with running it. but editing the settings of darkisnt. worked.
now another problem....:erg: first mission ended well... but no movies coz i didn't installed codec, but i dont care for movies... 2nd mission started and when it finished, zaya comes out, mission complete, then it crashed... and normal window message appeared that it met a problem and needed to be closed... I started game again... but when mission ended, it just crashed and crashed... then I checked and found that after the completion of first mission, it crashes as well...
plz someone... HELP:tsktsk:

oh, its me answering myself....
the problems were Movies... I deleted them...(after copying n other location to watch them later) and it no more crashes... Thanks to one of previous posts

maybe if you'd installed the god damned codec...

First I didn't installed codec.... the first level ended without problem....
then I did installed it... and I think thats where the problem started...
anyway... now, it is solved... no technical membo jembo... just removed the movies from movies folder and now everything is fine...
