People who complain all the time about life and society - but then don't vote or get politically involved (or think politics is boring/and or dead.)

I had a pet hate when I was small but it kept shitting on my dad's pillow and it would light black candles and giggle late at night, so we had to give it away. :(

They always come back...
My pet peeve are ads that crop up on t.v, regarding feminine products. Especially in the presence of females. Uncomfortable.

I hate intentionally daft birthday/Christmas presents. I don't want a silver (grey) cat-shaped thing that can play and 'dance to' my MP3s.
Nor do I want a Felipe Massa fanboy T-shirt. He's an F1 driver, and I like F1, but I don't like dressing up in sporting fanboy clothes.
I've also been given a digital photo frame. The designers didn't even have the sense to give it the same aspect ratio of standard digital photos, meaning that they all have to be edited if distortion is to be avoided.
(I did also receive nice presents)
Speaking of aspect ratios, I hate seeing other people happily sitting in front of their fashionable widescreen TVs with the picture stretched/squashed when they could very easily fix it.
I also hate widescreen TVs in general. To quote Jim Royale, it's the same bloody shite only wider.
I also hate the hype surrounding Digital TV and the Digital Revolution that's being forced upon us. The analogue signals are being shut down even though they are reliable, much more so than the digital signals. So what if we'll be able to have more stations? There's not enough good on TV to fill the current digital channels, and most of the programs are repeats.
Even when there is something decent on, I've found that some digital boxes let the sound get out of sync with the pictures.
I'm just hoping that these problems only exist because it's new technology (I wasn't around when analogue was new) and it'll get sorted reasonably quickly, since nobody really has a choice in the matter.

Somebody needs to choose one pet hate and stick with it.

I hate it when people write YOUR for "you are." Jesus, even non-native English speakers get this one correct. What kind of edumacation seestem do you kidz all go too? Oh yeah, two, to and too are another thing I hate, but seeing as there are three spellings of the same verbal word, I can see a bit of confusion.
There's this big ass Chevy Diesel monstrosity driving around here, and in the back window, in HUGE vinyl letters reads: "Your just jealous." If I ever catch them at a red light, I'll let them know just how jealous I really am.:nono:
Oh yeah, elevators. I hate the people that rush in, when they clearly can see people need to get out. Yeah buddy, hurry up and get in so we can all go around you and try to get off.

My pet peeve is when people break their spaghetti before they boil it and/or cut it up after it's cooked.

Dude, that's how all civilized people eat spaghetti.
