There is shitloads we are not capable of computing without some kind of storage aid, geek. Whether paper, a blackboard or a computer, we have always and will always need synthetic memory for the kind of shit you're talking about. And anyway, compressed storage is still storage, you still run out of neurons. Get over yourself ffs.

@Sulphur And just what is this "established science" you speak of? Are you aware of a thing called quantum mechanics? Our classical assumptions are being disproven. Quantum suicide, (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-slit_experiment) the double-slit thought experiment, (
http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Feeling_the_Future) "feeling the future", these are all evidence that infinite scenarios exist and that the mind can affect the future to account for all possible scenarios. A two-dimensional loop is a finite loop, but expand that loop into a 3D space and it will look like a donut. Expand it into a 4D space and it will look like a hyperdonut.
Edit: Vivian: kindly don't tell me to "get over myself" because you find my ideas disagreeable. I'm not doing this to supplement my ego.

Funny story: I studied it. Not terribly well, admittedly, as I've always had more of a literary bent. But enough to know none of it has bugger all to do with anything you're talking about re: the human brain.

Bullshit you didn't start a blog about your mystical views on things to supplement your ego.

Each dimensional expansion increases the amount of volume of an object, but they're still very much finite.
Though I'm not sure what fourth dimensional objects have to do with our brains, which are entirely constrained within 3 dimensions.

Hahaha. I'm going to use the blog to advance the human discourse and apply my ideas to activism. What the world needs now is the appearance of magic. The power elites have no power at all. Real power is in the mind, in the form of earthshattering beauty and profundity. The elites fear the real world. They barricade themselves from it because they dread the world so much that they're determined to have us kill each other off while they hide in their multi-millions dollar bunkers utilizing technology to shield themselves from climate disaster. The so called "powerful" will see what real power is soon enough, and they will be terrified.
I'm about to start a campaign to subvert the social order using the proliferation of ideas that will plant seeds of deeper thought in people's minds. I'll be printing out bulk orders of multiple postcards with messages and post them around the city. Two examples:

Like I said, this is all a big ego trip innit. You're going to bring the mighty down. Cool story. How's the descent remake coming along, anyway?

What choice do we have? It's that or we commit collective suicide via the destruction of our ecosystem. Humans in times of crisis will find any way to rise to a task and persist.
Vivian on 23/9/2016 at 18:49
We start a self-aggrandising blog about nonsense or destroy the global ecosystem and die? Those are the options as you see them?
You know what, geek? You would make an entertaining anime.

I'll let him borrow my copy of Catcher in the Rye. :D
