You tried your best. Your dad would be proud of you for that. Sometimes justice is forever elusive. It has already been a long horror and, if you will forgive me for saying so, I think your dad would want you to be at peace and to concentrate on your life and those you care for. As much as you may want to you can't fix the past. I hope happiness in your future will heal you.

Its cases like this that make even the most hardened atheist admit that the idea of Hell has a certain appeal.

dude, when people are apologizing for being utter douche bags in this thread you should probably not try to enter the competition because Stitch has you by a mile

I'm going to regret asking this but how was what he said douchey? Keep in mind that you're Thief13x when formulating your answer.

This isn't the place to discuss your dementia but I will warn you that the edit button also includes a delete option

I stand by my record
Anyway, I wish Gunsmoke and his family (those that don't kill people, anyway) the best in all this, let's not derail things again.

Hang on a sec. I might have missed something but this update is about the results of a lie detector test?
As tempting as they are, the reason they are inadmissable is that they have no credibility left. It's not just that years of use showed their margin of error to be too large. It's questionable that they ever got anything right at all.
And once such a test (or psychic, or astrologer) validates one strongly held point of view, it's hard to un-beleive that the thing must be right.
You're in a pretty unenviable situation, but I think you should take a lack of evidence as a lack of evidence for the moment.

Gun, I'm sorry to hear that you have to go through all this, what's happening is unfair and utmost ridiculous. But where in the hell do masons still have that much weight? i thought they were pretty much a joke outside of Alabama these days.
CCCToad on 27/11/2009 at 02:24
It isn't so much "masons are evil" in this case. Its that all the people who have the power over the case are all members of the same club. Think like, when you were in college, if all the RA's and Resident council members were members of Sigma Omega.
