it's the striding back in and calling everyone idiots that I have a problem with.
Shit, there goes most of my plan for the next week.

Only a week huh? :( You've been gone for a bit, I would of expected more.

Wow, that sucks. If I was you, I would find out as much as I can and write a book about the murder. People love when books are based on a true story, they eat that shit up! Might as well make a few hundo g's out of it all.
Hopefully the truth is seen and your wishes are fulfilled. Good luck!

As much as it pained me bring up such an ugly, unpopular, flame-bait thread...I felt that you deserved an update.
Yeah, so the Murder charges have been dropped. A while back. Prosecutors refused to pursue charges, based on lack of evidence.
My father's side of the family, whom I am standing behind, has been demanding a 3rd-party, unbiased, neutral, no-Masonic-ties, etc...'lie detector' test be administered to my mother. At this point, nothing can bring back my awesome Dad. No amount of money possibly gained from a Civil Suit could possibly do a damn thing to heal any of the deep, deep scars left behind. Any criminal case is not going to happen. At all. I don't know that any of us want that anyway. It won't fix anything, and the only thing we want is the truth. Answers.
The prosecutors basically are unable to form any sort of criminal case, even if it was pursued. It is a cold case if ever there was one. Several 'witnesses' are dead. Memories are fading by the day. The people that are the most dedicated to the cause are old. The youngest is me, and as far as folks who were old enough to be of any help the youngest is 50 and the rest are in their 70s and 80s. The Sheriff( Mason) on the original case, as well as his Deputy are dead, and the bullshit notes they took are extremely minimal. The coronor is dead, and was a Mason anyway.
I did the research and communicated for 6 months or so, and after back-and-forth with all of the parties involved, I found one that we could agree upon. We had to fund it (DAMN, they are pricey. I had no idea they could get that high) and everything (every single, tedious, step of the way had to get approved by 5 lawyers) required a Herculean effort. Every question was scrutinized. It was necessary but emotional and tough.
Well, it happened last week. The results, well, the opinion of the admistrator of the test and his assistants?
SHE FUCKING DID IT. Or at the VERY LEAST, played a significant role in his death. Ugh. Shame that Polygraphs are UNadmissable in court and are basically worthless in the US as evidence/basis for prosecution.
Why me? Why the fuck does it have to be ME that has to have this happen? Why does it have to be ANYONE, for that matter. Goddamnit.

man that is pretty messed up. I don't know what to say, I don't know what the hell I would do. Thanks for the update nonetheless, I had been wondering how this all ended up turning out. Just a damn shame it had to be like this:erg:

Yeesh. Sorry to hear it, gunny.

I'm sorry it has to be you. In these situations (which nothing this extreme has ever happened to me), I tend to accept the fact that it happened to me as a good thing, instead of happening to someone whom it would affect much worse. Reguardless it's messed up, tell your mom that a huge group of people from all around the world HATE her, if I can speak for most?
