I've been a fan of the System Shock franchise forever.
I just started playing SS1 through again for something like the 40th time I think.
The one question I have has always been something I cannot figure out.
What the hell are the cyborgs saying?
It sounds like "Your metal than ever!" or "You've met ya'll forever!"
Someone must know.

I just hear 'your metal your metal' or, maybe it's german 'ja metal ja metal.'
I have no idea. I've been thinking I'd like the sound on my phone, for messages.

They were intentionally made to speak garbled up, reversed and pitched language samples with some metallic echo so they sound alien to you. You would have to extract the sample and play around with it a bit, trying to reverse the process to find out what it's based on.

Speaking of cyborgs, what are the assassins saying in SS2? It kinda sounds like "forward enemy". Any ideas?

I already have cyborg assassin babble from SS2 for my incoming SMS sound :) Alternative is the sound med-bed makes when used. Both work great!
