I have noticed on the different boards lately that some of our members are a bit hostile.
I put it down to lack of social skills. Once the offenders get through puberty
things might improve.

Ouch!
I agree entirely. In fact I'd toyed with the idea of posting about it myself. There are too many ego-fueling putdowns that often add nothing to the discussion on this forum.
If the forum's getting old; move on.

Hahaha! That's my favorite forum flame: "Come back when you're finished going through puberty". :D

Could all this be due to a new generation of Thief Fans?
More likely the fear of it. The fear that any "new breed" of Thief fan will shake up the status quo.
So I can strike fear in the hearts of you guys cause I'm new here? MWHAHAHA  Or, maybe not hehe

This newbie has the right attitude... let's keep him ;)
Lack of social skills, or lack of experience on a board that encourages manners and cooperation ? Many boards out there don't seem to encourage that kind of behavior.
Then again... school is out... the babysitter was let go because she was too expensive ... no one has had any sleep in over a month...

Few guys have a differing mindset and like to critisize a bit. Big deal?
Must be interesting to live in the happy happy land. Pfffft. :p

When you reach pensionable age in the UK you get a pink card to prove it. Mine certifies that "Freddy Fox is entitled to a Retirement Pension" (which provides a concession rate in theatres, brothels, and similar establishments).
Last week, in the supermarket, the cashier noticed my pink card and said "Oh, I see you've got your Moaner's Licence"!
I can't remember puberty (or much else, to be honest) but be very afraid - we wrinklies have you pubescents outnumbered. We are honing our hostility, and have paperwork to back it up. :p

Listen to your elders and betters, otherwise nursie will give you a spanking.
You know thats what you really want anyway.
Don't mean you Mr. ffox :)
