I've done only 2 goals - loot and info about attempt to my life
There are a few more:
- find and steal Nina's heart
- steal Hector's Fire Poker
- ... crystaline sceptre
- discover the truth behind the disapperaing nobles
- find information on the mistery man
=>I found Nina's heart but it was only the fake one.
=>list of things I cannot open
- blue chest in the room where there were zombie and black beast (both dead now)
- door in the library behind the movable shelf
- Talbor's room
- door somewhere near the Talbor's room, the highest level (up the note where it is said that "noone can pass through it"-or sth like that)
I'm putting the next comment into spoiler not to give a hint to somebody by accident
[SPOILER]I've read the book where it is said sth about water in the kitchen (that sth is strange about it - it reacts with gold). I've tried to throw the crystaline s... (the thing that reacts with gold vases and openes passages) into it but nothing happened.[/SPOILER]

That was a mission! I've never felt so scared playing games as tonight while escaping and then fighting with those black beasts:devil: . Brr... Many stange things were happening to me. Sometimes I turned my head from the screen, I threw out the keyboard and the mouse. That was terrible! But very exciting

Overall, a very interesting and challenging mission which has forced me to think harder than normal. I just need to know if I'm running into bugs or if I simply need to try harder.
I am playing on expert, of course. I have put the book on the table, but no door opened. I know that there is a door in the same room, because I can see where my arrows will stick into the wall. Is this a bug? I have loaded the game several times with no change. I have heard the wall click when it first loads, and there is nothing blocking the way.
I have been playing this level for awhile and this is the only thing blocking me from continuing. I am truly hoping that this level can be finished as it is quite an excellent level, otherwise.
I would appreciate any hints that anyone can share about this...

Are you in the small library, just down the hall from the dining room? Is the book the one from the shelves in the same room? If so, then once it is placed in the center of the table, underneath the note, then yes, a secret door should open in the room.

Sup! This is my first post on this forum- W00T, GO ME!
Uh..anyway. I've been playing the mod "The Mystery Man" and it's really great so far. This mod probably has the hardest puzzles I've ever seen in a FM before, I managed to solve them all myself (which made me feel like a genius..) until now. I've been through the whole mansion and FINALLY am in the western tower...only now there's a mirror blocking my path. A nearby sign reads "Mirror of Truth: The Truth is out there...find it to proceed". I'm completely stumped..if anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thx alot.

nm, figured it out (Thx to another topic I found on this forum). Really great mod, the ending freaked me out. I'd like to play more FMs from this author if there are any...

Welcome to the forum, The Mike! :) Doaal hasn't got any other missions out at the moment, but the last thing I heard, he was hard at work on a prequel to Mystery Man, so you'll have to keep an eye out for it sometime in the future. :)
Have you tried The Order of the Vine yet? You might like it if you enjoyed this mission. :)
