What an ending!
I left the mansion still missing quite a bit of loot, my total was $10369. I guess I'll have to go back and continue my search.
I still have a couple of questions about the mansion

Glad you enjoyed it Lobster :) To answer your question, they're just there for story purposes. Did you check out the tapestries in the "big" library on the main floor? You need to climb the bookshelves to reach them.
Here's a hint for loot:
At the very entrance to the mansion (the front), right inside the main doors, there is a wooden frame up above you. Try looking up there

Hey FDPercival,
Once you have the Upper Floor key, you can open Talbot's room on the east side upper floors. Check very carefully in there and you should find it.

The master key was a stumper the 1st time through for me as well. It was easy to miss that thing that is still easy to miss if you haven't played the mission before.:p

I have gotten stuck! I don't know what do to next!
I found two talesmans (fire and wind), and put them in their talesman holders. But . . . I don't know where the other ones are. I am hoping for HINTS as to where they are (but if HINTS are too tough to give, then just tell me subtley).
Also, what does Alexei's Plate do in the Kitchen Sink? I think I hear a *click!*, as if a secret door was opened, but I couldn't find it (if that is what it was). I hope you can help.
I also don't know where Hector's Fire-poker and the Crystaline Scepter. I hope for HELPFUL HINTS to their locations too, please.

Hints, hmm?? Let's see... Alexi's golden plate does something in the dining room. You may have to dunk it more than once, depending on difficulty setting.
You didn't mention which keys you have. Do you have the Master's key? It's hard to give a hint when I don't know where you've been. Did you find the bookcase that opens in the big library? Some of the stuff you need is accessed from behind there, but you need the Master's key to get into that area. Let me know if you need more specifics.
