oh and by the way, everybody is talking about "oooooh theres so much lot on that level!!" What is the big deal? You never get to spend it anyway, so why drool about it?

Well, actually you do have a point there...
Wait, a second thought...in OMs you actually get to spend
the loot on a next mission.
umh...I better get some sleep now.

When you think about it most fms are single and do not link to another fm (there are only a few campaigns out there) so you never really need to find loot except when there is an objective demanding it. But it's fun to find anyhow, perhaps it's the sound that it makes ;) Or perhaps because loot is often hidden in secret places and is a reward for being able to find secrets.

I've been enjoying the highly regarded Mystery Man but I've seriously hit my tolerence level for tile floors.
Is there another way to navigate around the mansion (secret passages e.g.) or a cache of moss arrows somewhere? I've had my fill of crouch, creep forward, F11, creep forward, F11, accidently tap the floor, get mauled by 5 guards, F12, etc. :o
Thanks!

I just jumped out of the darkness the "Here I am come and get me!!!" style then kicked butt!
But I've noticed that if you Crouch and walk and press the walk button like press press press press, just tap it, you won't make a sound when you walk. Maybe worth trying?

I found the table in the guard's mess hall a good spot to get rid of some of the guards. If I alerted someone, I'd run for it, jump up, then hop down behind it for a second to lure them close to the table. Then I jumped back up on it and I could usually use my sword on them without getting hit.
I really like Mystery Man, but it does take a bit of patience to sneak around it. :)

well...
You do get a gas arrow or two in normal and hard. If you can gather everyone in one place, you can turn, shoot, and put most of 'em down for the count.
Of course, this is WAY harder done than said.... <=)

YESSSS....naarmo's got it right on....Garrett can move in complete silence on ANY surface...and with good speed too, with a little practice.....I finished T2 about a month ago and I think I used like 5 moss arrows to finish the entire game. The only time I use 'em is for jumping down when the terrain is unknown (getting into Anglewatch is a good example) ....you can never be sure if your feet landing are going to make noise or not. Taffers, practice this technique, the life you save could be Garrett's!:sly:

I'm too impatient to use that method anyway. Except when I'm at a map with lots of grasshopper bugs, they're kinda hard to kill when they've noticed you, AND they walk in an annoying way! But the other monsters are pretty easy! The skeleton hammers are scary though, but easy to beat if I wasn't so scared!!!! *runs*

I do the same creep technique. I count in my head: "One Thousand One" stop. "One Thousand One" stop. And if you do this, you can glide across a floor in a pretty effective manner. I don't get caught, usually, but there's always that one time you get impatient...
