Granted, I feel for the guy when he gets schooled like this. But theres a malicious bastard in me that cackles when it ends up the way it does. The TTLG vets have honed twisting his nips black down to a fine art. Its almost mesmerising, sitting and waiting for the inevitable HMPH IM LEAVING. FOREVER!

On this particular thread, I must cry foul, Pig. Sypha is not only a known dramawhore, but a simpleton to boot, put that in combination with a gleeful disregard for how this place works - you've got a powderkeg of dramatic idiocy waiting for an RBJ-like match. I think Sypha has proven with his livejournal entry that he has as little respect for this place as his attitude suggests, so character or not, if he's going to throw his toys out of the pram everytime he makes his misguided posts and then spits at everyone who retorts, so fucking be it.

Quite a substantial portion of this thread is also really sound advice. Then there are bits which are fairly good advice shrouded in insults. And a few more bits which are just insults.
Most of those last parts occurred after it became obvious that reasonable criticism wasn't being taken on board in any way, shape or form. Anything relevant was just met with "oh well I knew that chapter wasn't much good" or "well frankly I don't care what any of you think I only wrote it for me," which I should imagine is rather annoying after you've carefully laid out some guidance, or if you're a writer in any capacity.
Anyway, this whole thing was almost certainly a premeditated act of "ho ho, let's post this on TTLG and explode the dramabomb!" - which almost failed due to most people, actually, being quite sensible and polite; until Sypha upped the ante by ignoring any useful info and blathering on about HIS ART. It's all just part of a huge act. There is absolutely no way he has left FOWEVAH, in fact he'll either be reading this now or have someone else reading it for him and relaying the contents. So don't fret about that.
