I expect royalties. Variations on "Go Kill Yourself" in a Sypha thread are my personal trademark.

I spent half an hour searching and come back with empty hands. (Okay, I spent 15min in a rather hilarious thread about earwax.) Maybe it wasn't you TBE or it was a variation like RBJ suggested, or both. It was about Sypha's music anyway. If the admins keep a record on reports I'm sure they could help out. But it's not that important for what I meant after all.

It's obvious to me now that the $1000 was a small price to pay for the birth of the term "fuckstick" - brilliant. :thumb: :laff: :laff: :laff:

That's been around way longer than this lollercaust of a thread, fett. :)

Yeah, but now I can happily announce to the world, "HEY WORLD! I'M A FUCKSTICK!"
I've never been called that before. No really.

I myself never recall TBE saying such a thing to me, and I have a pretty long memory when it comes to insults directed at me (still remember that "Hammerites vs. Mechanists" thread).
Speaking of, here's a classic music thread from when I first had an MP3 posted on here:
(

I find it amusing, if only because at that time I really, truly, sincerily believed that I'd have no trouble getting on a record label with the music I was doing at the time. Now I look back at such a thread and I can only shake my head at how naive I was. Oddly enough, despite the hostile reaction I got, it still didn't dissuade me from continuing my musical work. I think part of my problem is that whenever I work on something I get really, really hyped up and enthusiastic about it and when people don't share my enthusiasm it bums me out or something like that.
This thread is probably a prime example of that. I got really excited and pumped up that my book was out that I just had to tell everyone about it, and I got kind of depressed when it got mocked (well, mocked mostly on here). But some other people I know have ordered the book and tell me they can't wait to read it, so I'm starting to feel excited again, because deep down I still do think that it's good and that maybe other people will find something of value in it. Okay, if my new years resolution for 2006 was to get something published and finish a book, then my goal for 2007 will be to start a book even better then the one I did this year!:D
