Without reading this whole thread but a few pages of the book one of the earliest memories I have about comm-chat suddenly came back to me: It was Taffer Boy Elvis telling Sypha to hang himself. Back then I was appalled, confused and disgusted by this kind of behaviour as I had been only used to shock-gen. I think I even reported the post. Today I see these things much more relaxed.
