That didn't take long. :) I also started playing it yesterday, and I'm having fun so far. Normal is definitely challenging enough for me. Damn those healing bots. The explorable areas could be more interesting, but I really like the conversations between my characters and their comments. The story and the whole setting seem interesting so far.
I haven't figured out yet how death works in this game. I know that it's game over if my whole party gets killed, but is there some penalty if one of my characters bleeds out and dies during a battle. Of course they can't be resurrected during the same fight, but is everything OK as long as I win in the end?

If anyone bleeds out or if everyone gets downed, it's game over. You can have another unit resurrect them as long as you have a medkit.
And yeah if you've snuck around and stealthily taken down dudes before engaging a bigger group, the medbots will just magically KNOW about everyone that's been taken down, and run off and revive them all while you're stuck fighting the big group, so make sure you treat them as high-priority targets.

I finished MYZ around two months ago, I just never remembered to post my impressions here... until now, that is.
It's not a great game, merely OK-ish. Getting all the way to the end was a bit of a chore, I must say. I wanted to like the game a lot more than I actually did, but it's just so badly balanced in so many ways. I found it impossible to find a suitable difficulty level. Even Normal difficulty felt very challenging at first, but then I got my hands on some better gear, and suddenly everything was way too easy. The harder difficulties where the enemies have even more health just don't sound like too much fun - I've never cared for bullet sponge enemies. I just wanted to get to the end quickly so I stuck with the Normal difficulty.
I loved the humour and the characters and the story in MYZ, the little conversations between the mutants were occasionally very funny. Sadly the gameplay itself is nowhere as good. It's pretty much what we've seen in XCom and all those, but it somehow just feels so unbalanced and not very fun. The stealth bits where you have to kill enemies one by one before the actual big fight begins feel silly, but you gotta do some of that, otherwise you'll be so badly outnumbered that you won't have a chance. The cover system doesn't always seem to work properly and the camera angles can be frustrating. There are six different playable characters in the game, but I think I used the same three guys throughout the game, because I didn't see much point in switching between the rest of them, especially when the inventory system is pretty horrible.
MYZ isn't a terrible game at all, but apart from having some fun characters and lighthearted humour, it feels like an inferior XCom clone in just about every way. After finishing the game I uninstalled pretty much straight away, and I have no desire to get back to it again.
