With the -30/+30 levels mod.. how easy is it to change this to something like -20/+10 ? That would suit me better I think. I have no knowledge of modding btw.

I may make this thread a sticky (I'll create a new one and clean it up a bit). I'm just curious as to the longevity of the links provided. I don't want to do all that work for nothing, but then again a lot of these mods are very helpful, specifically the tweaks.

TES Source links should stay functioning. I wouldn't count on any of the TES forum links staying though since they usually get locked due to size within days. The TES forums modders usually link to Planet Elder Scrolls or TES Source though so just go in and get those links.

How difficult would it be to adjust rate of fire for your bow based on your marksman level?
I had dreams of pulling off Legolas-style rapid shots against my foes but alas no such thing can happen as I'm no faster at level 90 marksman than at 10 :(

Is it just me or does it seem that you actually get weaker as you level up? I'm about a level 15 Thief and I can barely get through caves anymore even when I do use stealth. If I can pick one enemy off at a time, I can, but even that takes entirely way too long. 15 to 20 shots is a bit much on an enemy you see all the time. I use a pretty high level bow as well as arrow heads.
My brother has been playing with me and says the same. Is there a mod to fix this? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Thats described in the readme iirc. Since the "mod" actually just alters two .ini values for lazy people like me it should be easy to adjust that to ones liking.

the monsters level up with you. there are some mods that will fix that. forget what they are called but there are several mods out there like that.
you can also always decrease the difficulty slider

Yeah, I was considering adjusting the difficulty, but I really want to get the most out of it, and was worried that might kinda ruin it for me.
I noticed the monsters level up with you, but I'm looking for a mod that kinda caps them off lower.
Is this just because I'm only level 15 and its just a rough spot in the game? Or does it only get harder from here?
