So this bug really exists, confirm/deny?
Yes. I got hit by it with my first character. I had Mercantile stuck at 30 and was lvl 27. Then my block got stuck at 49 so I said "to hell with it" and started a new one.

Erh, if you read on a few posts you'd see that the "bug" doesn't really do anything to harm you. It doesn't actually improve your skill, which mean you'll have to train 2, 5 or whatever number of ranks you gained, before you'll actually see it move.

I'd say that's pretty harmful...and idiotic.

Ah thanks for that. I wanted to list that but I couldn't find the link! I'll add it into the original post.

And this game has been out for how many days?
(granted, within about two days of getting it I aquired the construction set and went about personalizing my item inventory)

Anyone tried (
http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=1952) No obsolete Loot and Enemies?
Ive hit 30 and indeed "everyone and his mother" has full sets of Daedric, yet i slap them like puppies. So im looking for something which reduces the output of the secret Bandits Daedric Gear Factory and brings back some slapping variety/eg older monsters, and this seems to be just it. So anyone tried it yet?
EDIT : Tried it myself, and i think its great. Basically just alters two values so that you randomly encounter loot/enemies 30 levels below or higher than your current level, but the effect is great. Went out into the wilderness and some ruins and encountered much more diverse enemies and loot. Go get it.
(Should be interesting for starters too, running into a Gloom Wraith at Level 1 for example :ebil: )

This looks good. One of the things I liked about Daggerfall was the occasional chance of encountering some mofo you usually wouldn't until 20 levels later. Didn't happen very often but when it did it sure made your hair stand up on end. I almost always ended up running for my life. I like leveled monsters but I wish there were just that occasional few that would show up when you least expect them to. In Oblivion I've met one single much higher monster as part of a specific quest. So just how often do you encounter the new monsters?
The armor part sounds really good too--I'm still level 11 so it'll be awhile before I see all the Daedric--but wouldn't that make a lot of monsters easier to kill?

Yeah, the random enemies one might be a bit frustrating for me, but as RarRar said, Daggerfall pulled this off well, so it might not be all that bad.
I'm loving the Slower Leveling x2 that I mentioned earlier. You get to savor your levels and take it slower. You don't go from seeing skeletons in one dungeon, and liches in the next and it seems like your skills progress more evenly.
