i still don't see the benefit of having a house at all.... "waiting" works just as well to heal your health & magicka

I like the realistic weapons and armor mod. I also moved the stealth icon down tot he bottom of the screen. THe Call Steed mod is pretty nice too

The ability to dump a few hundred pounds worth of alchemical reagents and equipment in one spot so you can haul more stuff to the merchants and not risk losing your lab.
Or keeping an alternate set of armor/weapon for non-standard quests (such as a sneaking/chameleon set for a pure fighter).

ahhhhhhhh... i see the possibilities now. i have only been playing for about 9 hours so far so i don't really have that much stuff collected.
still.... i am totally against fast travel. so it would suck to have to walk from one end of the map to the other if i just wanted to pick up something.... and then have to go all the way back, too!.... screw that. i think i prefer to keep my inventory minimal. and since i'm not into alchemy or anything it won't be as big of a problem.
and i'm also against mods that are cheating... which the interdimensional pocket definitely would qualify as for me. guess i'll have to get a house located in a central location :)

I'd like to see some verticality introduced to the game. I mean climbing on the roofs on buildings, climbing ladders, entering through windows, stuff like that. I don't mean that it should be turned into Thief, but it would just add to the free-form feel of playing.
Hell, for the the first one who develops a functional rope arrow, I'll buy a case of beer! The engine seems to be flexible enough to handle such things, although in reality I have no clue.

I was considering doing such a mod =P
io organic industrialism on 31/3/2006 at 20:44
i was thinking about that too. although rope arrows seem a contrived object that should remain in the thief universe.
what about a grappling hook? there's some real world technology that actually works that needs to be implemented into a video game.

So this bug really exists, confirm/deny?
