So youtube sucks for music videos, if they're not the official version (which occasionally don't load) it's a crappy version of someone filming their tv with a camcorder (which occasionally won't load).
(
http://www.mtvmusic.com/) now has like 22,000 videos up, the player doesn't suck, there are no ads, and so far the worst thing is their search engine, which doesn't know how to correct misspellings.
But even if you knew about that I needed to post this thread to make sure everyone knows the best part: they have Pop-up Videos! Music videos + trivia oh god I'm reliving the 90's and it's awesome.
Load this song and turn it up loud, you know you want to: (

was there a mutant alligator riding it?
(
http://www.mtvmusic.com/video/?id=216882) a personal favourite (even if a lot of the significance of the logos is lost on me, I appreciate the thought behind it and the attention to timing - the end is beautiful too, yay for the end credits of Murder She Wrote)

Productivity is dead, as I've rediscovered my crush on Liz Phair.
And Tanya Donelly.
And Nina Persson.
And Isobel Campbell.
I think I'm some kind of crush-whore.

Holy crap that's good. When is that from? I can't tell anymore. It seems too clever to actually be from the eighties.
Great site. They haven't got (

DVNO is from the JUSTICE album
† released last year but it is obviously the best of 80s logos remixed to their lyrics. Pretty fucking inventive.

What will we get once this is filled with crappy 'lifestyle' shows, ringtone ads and brainless pretty vjanes? MTVmusicmusic? This portal is as redundant as it's name.
Wake me up when Ray Cokes returns. (Please kill them all, Ray. You know it's the only cure!)
