Is that kind of music still any good? I kinda tuned out everything after Dayglo Abortions and BFG. Recommendations would be cool, though I'm not sure if I would find myself drifting too far back into that genre these days on account of I'm old and fat and have spent years listening to a shameful amount of electronica and pop. :(

GBM, I would recomment The Exploited. They are my favourite punk band.
The following songs are good:
Never sell out.

Thatcher-era Edinburgh punk? Yeah, I think you can safely assume I've got a few Exploited LPs lying around. ;)
I meant more recent stuff, sorry. New bands, etc. I should have clarified.

Well, I am not interested in new bands too. But if you want something exotic, try this:

mp3s downloaded there are free. I hope you will like the songs, though you won't understand what Kokosha glava sing ( Bulgarian Language ).
Kokosha Glava means Hen's head.

Offtopic:
Don't you think that nowadays pop music is not as good as it was in the past? For example, I think that Black Eyed Peas is not a good band.
Also, I remember some disco retro hits ( 93-94 ). John Skatman (Scatman's world ), Mo-Do ( Eins Zwei Polizei ) and so on.
