As my rig has totally seven fans, specifically :
- Two fans in power supply unit.
- One fan at the back of the case
- One fan at the side of the case (rarely turning it on)
- CPU fan
- GPU fan
- Chipset minifan
... I'm surprised it's as quiet as it is.

Back to the original problem:
- Check the directories (inside the Data directory) that contain the music files that the game uses. If anything looks out of place, remove it.
- Check to see if any of the music files have become corrupted. Use an mp3 player to play them one at a time. If any of them refuses to play or causes some other strangeness, then it's probably a corrupted file.

I did it, check everything. All seems to be in order. Files play without problems in wm player and winamp.
