1)Most of the sounds you're using aren't appropriate for the style, especially the bass. Tighten things up, as, except for the voice, it sounds very lethargic. Mixing-wise, levels are weird, and you've lost a lot of the high end somewhere along the line. I kinda like the end, though.
2) You sound bored. Consequently, the song is boring. It may have been boring anyway, but singing like that it definitely is. Also, there's nothing experimental or minimal about this.
3) It's alright, in a non-threatening kind of way. Watch your levels, though, because it distorts in several places. I'll say this one is my favorite of the three.
Overall, I'd say the biggest problem is that your chord structures are all pretty cliché, and consequently, there's nothing particularly gripping about it.

All three of the songs are down graded to .wma format (required by acidplanet) which creates the distortion and tons of mixing defects such as parts flooding out other parts. the most all of the sounds are vst plugins so there's not much i can do with making them sound more real than i already have...
song 1:
I called it Ska because I didn't know what else to call it. I just wanted to make a song with a synth solo, and i think it didn't come out too bad other than the fact that its vst, and that its a crappy format.
song 2:
It IS an EXTREMELY boring song for a reason. I wanted to create a song that was at least 5 minutes long specifically for depressing midnight drives. Something that would make someone thats depressed, feel like its ok to be depressed. Kinda like how when people are sad, they listed to sad music. Its boring simply because I wanted it to be. I had the idea to write a boring song when I was talking to my girlfriend. We were in conversation for a while and I realized much later that the whole time there was a VERY booring song playing. It made me realize how awsome boring/long/depressing music is. I didn't even know it was playing but when i realized that it was, I also realized that I DID know it was playing, I just didn't realize it. Make any sense???
song 3:
I had the picture in my head of silently hoovering over the universe, looking down on my possesion that is LIFE. but then being alone, and shameful that I feel so much better than that of which i look down on. Feeling a want to fit in. Feeling like its all too much. Alone in Shame.
I am VERY happy and thankful for your opinion. Its sokmething i rarely find at acidplanet. everyone there wants to say GREAT JOB so i'll be there freind and I reply with THANKS, but it doesn't help me. Its like telling an american idolist that they can sing... It doesn't help anyone. I hope to hear more opinion...
I am not trying to justify anything here... but Some songs were meant to be boring. It makes me feel better when I'm sad...
THANKS again--

Not to sound overly harsh, but a good mix won't degrade like that when it's compressed. Read up on various EQ/mixing tips and keep trying. Practice makes perfect, etc, etc, etc...
Also, I'm not saying you need to get real instruments (though that always helps). Just be aware that you can't really fake real instruments with VSTs. People can tell the difference, and it tends to hit the uncanny valley, making it sound rather unpleasant. Concerning the bass of the ska song, the release is far too long for the tempo the song is going, and the notes are all mashing together, making it sound muddy. Give them space between.
Also, about the boring song: Brian Eno describes ambient music as "music that is as interesting as it is ignorable," meaning that it works as both background and foreground music. Your song is ignorable, but not that interesting. Something to think about, anyway.

I wish i had real instruments... You sound like you know what you're talking about. I have tried so many different techniques for mixing and for some reason it always sounds messy when i convert it. I even use a graphics eq to shape the freq range/volume to make it sound more decent and less muddy , and on my before the songs are compressed, they sound pretty good on my computer and stereo and in a car stereo, but then i convert them and they sound like an atari ST sample. The songs are cliché because it sells. I hate the fact but after talking to MANY music professionals, they all say the same thing... It sells. And sadly, thats what I want. I want to put my girlfriend and my musical talent to work... I have a HUGE passion for music and I cant stand using my shitty programs and my 1987 tapco mixer, my shure PG 48, N-track studio, and my year 2000 computer. Its all slow and not good. I'm just glad it does at least what its doing. I've always wanted to make music for a living whether it be for movies, commercials, live concerts, etc... I just really need the constructive critisism right now and I'm not getting much of it so i really do appreciate your honest opinion.
I hope to someday go to collage for music. I've recorded multiple songs and love every style. I make fun of alot of it too and I want to do it for a living. I realize i might not have even the potential but I enjoy it and will never stop writing. I only recently started actually writingf and recording music so i really suck at mixing and using pan's and effects and all that fun stuff...
wow, that was pretty long... I wonder how many times i used the word/letter "I"...

I write music with my girlfriend
I think that is really fucking cool in itself.

Thank you. We do all of it together. We equally write lyrics, music, and everything else.

I have 1 question that I want people to HONESTLY answer.
Do we have enough potential based off of the 3 posted songs? I really am curious. You, the people. The people who would be buying a cd if it came out in stores. The people that support the record companys. Do you think we (me and my girl) could possibly make it with tons of practice, hard work, and based off of the songs?
thanks...

It's adorable how you say "me and my girl".
I'm so helpful! :D
