OK just a quick easy question.
HOW MUCH STUFF DO THEY BLOODY WELL WANT IN EXCHANGE FOR THE CRAPPY SHEILD WITH THE SWORD PIECE IN IT!!!!!!!!!
I give and give but its never enough :( . I'm honestly gonna start crying soon if they dont give me the piece. Last time i killed everyone but the curator and only cos my game froze while i was upstairs.
Can someone write me a shopping list please

Uhh.. they only want two pieces. Sure you're doing it right?

Just checking - you are giving them items as opposed to selling, right? I think you have to give 'em two items for free (though I could be remembering wrongly).

Yes, you need to give them two pieces. They will even accept the relatively useless dagger Helseth rewards you with for the goblin quest (I think) so in a way you only need one. You're best bet is to locate a legendary item that isn't your kind of weapon or armor, and isn't too powerful, and donate it (I donated the Bloodworm helm) Note that they won't accept all the legendary items mentioned in the book in the museum.

hohoho worked it out on my own as a matter of fact!
my game was crashing a bit and i did give quite a lot of stuff to the museum but the save i was working on was faulty . . . went back to previous save and just gave 2 items and prob solved.
20 mins later tribunal complete, actually seemed quite short and i was dissappointed by the ending, i feel it could have been better if
instead of fighting Amalexia in Soth Sils place, you had to fight her while she's surrounded by her Hands
I have too much money to be bothered about 30000 anyway, but thanks for the help everyone. I've posted more on this forum in the last day or two than the whole of last year! (no pun intended)

I wish I had this "problem". At the moment I have whopping 10 000 gold after spending all (about 370 000 gold) in one single enchantment (constant Reflect 15).. :erg:

Ack... there's a rather neat trick you can use in the future for things like this. (Again, I forget who discovered it, but it was awhile ago).
Basically, find an Enchanter who also Barters. Open the Barter screen to initialize the NPC's money counter, then close it (you don't have to buy anything) and do your Enchanting. Then go back to the Barter screen and sell a ton of expensive garbage that noone can afford (soul gems w/ mid-range critters are a good bet, and easy to obtain for cheap) to recoup your cash.
Note: This may no longer work, as it was discovered back around the time of the 1st MW patch, but I don't see any reason the devs would've blocked it.

Oooh, now I just need to get my bank account into its previous state to test this :p
