Multiple... pivots? - by massimilianogoi

I noticed that in some static meshes (including the Ziemanksye's ones) there are more than one pivot (red-green-blue segments), like in this image:

In Max they're just dummy objects you name and align the way you want. There seems to be a convention to call it "HP_" followed by what you want, but I don't know if that's required. After that, just use the Link tool to attach it to the mesh before you export and it should go along with the object into the *.tim file.
I think that's all there is to it anyway.

Hmmm... maybe you meant "Attack", under the "Edit Geometry" rollout?
I've tried this, but the result is not so encouraging :erg: :

Very thanks Ziem :thumb:
You're one of the most influencing seniors (if not the greatest) for my develop.
Too bad we can't see you often, lately.. :/ I hope you've got no problems..

Hmmm... nothing...
This seems not working, and I am wondering why...
I've tried both dragging, with "select and link", from the object to the HP_* little cubes and the inverse, but no results :(
I knew it wasn't easy, nothing in this damned editor is easy...

What are your little cubes?
If they're just little cubes, then no, it probably wont work, there's an object type called a Dummy that you use, which is basically just a wireframe handle around a point in the middle of it. That's what you need.

Already solved :)
Thanks anyway ziemanksye.
Practically you have to drag from that simpe objects (the little cubes) to the main object, severally one by one, with the "select and link" button activated.
I managed to correct those damned beds, that make some AI floating when it sleeps.

I had this with the Pagan bed, this pile of rags. If you have any "corrected" SMs, could you please send them up to the SMesh Brothers?
