Hi fellow DX fans. This is my first post in a long time.
MysteryGoat: I actually wanted to do the same thing a long time ago, but never found a solution. And if what the others here say is anything to go by, I guess the problem still stands. It would be really great to share DX story line amongst friends in a co-op multiplayer environment.

Well from what I'm gathering from Sheep, the problem seems to be he doesn't think anyone will want a MP game where people can't come and go as they please. Honestly I don't see the problem, cause if people were to do that in a co-op game, it would get really annoying really fast. You don't have to make it so people have to connect directly to a host, you can still have it on a server, but make it something like what starcraft does online. Get how many ever amount of people you want to join (my assumption would be not too many) then start the game. People can leave, but they can't connect to an already started game. If people started to get tired of playing, save the game, and load it at a later date. I really don't see the problem. I'd make it myself if I knew anything at all about programing, but I don't so that kind of sucks for me.

Personally, I'd love it. Doesn't anyone sit down for a three-day LAN to play this sort of thing any more? That's how me and my friends always played through System Shock 2 MP.

Hmm, so i guess it's safe to say this isn't going to be pursued?

Although Deus Ex has alot of fans here, for some reason this forum is always dead.

I guess they're too busy Multiplaying.
MysteryGoat on 13/4/2005 at 04:37
And to think they could multiplay in such a better way.

I hated Deus Ex multiplay. Most of the players use GEP Guns and completely obliterate anyone as soon as they walk in.
