We've tried everything. no matter what we do, it still says either "Failed to join" or gets stuck on "Joining game" and just sits there

Yes. We have hamachi, and it just plain doesnt work. we type in the IPs correctly, and it doesnt connect.
My friend tried blocking his connection and hamachi IP showed up, but we still couldnt connect. It wouldnt work with hamachi regardless of what we tried. It keeps saying "Join Failed" and when I try to join him it just hangs on joining.
