Hello all...
I have an odd thing happening when ever I try to host or to join a multiplayer session. My game just crashes with no error msg. Couldn't find any about this in th forum or internet, hopefully you guys can help.
I am running WinXP, Athlon 64 X2, 2 Gb ram, NV7800GTX, Audigy 2 NX, SN25P...
The game runs and sounds simply great. Now I wanted to start some coop play, cause I am sick and tired about all those "I-will-kill-you" shooters and I can't seem to get it running

There's a MP forum for this kind of questions (where I'm moving this thread to). Try searching that forum, and also checking the MP FAQ to see if you find anything useful.

I am also having this problem. Anyone else getting this issue? Or have a good work around

I have a friend who is having the same issue. He's running a core 2 duo, nvidia 680i motherboard, dual Geforce 8800gtx in sli, and a X-Fi Sound card. As soon as he chooses to either join a game or host, the game crashes to desktop with no error message. Single player works fine. His game is completely patched with SS2 Tool 2.1
Anyone have a fix for this?

Kolya's System Shock Tool. It has a variety of patches, including the multi-processor patch, etc. Very handy. Found it at strange bedfellows.

I have this same problem too. Singleplayer works just fine but every time I try to host or join to a game, it just waits for like 5 seconds and the game crashes. How many of you people have Nvidia Forceware Network Access Manager on your computer? I do and I think it has something to do with it. Not 100% sure though.

My multiplayer started working after I uninstalled Nvidia Forceware Network Access Manager. I hope it works for you guys too.
