The strangest thing happened: I extracted the save games into the savegames folder, and the sound stopped working! Now what do I do?

I cant get it to work ive done everything as described and i have the index file but i have a question is it version 1.0 or 1.1?

The version doesn't matter. It should work with 1.0 or 1.1.

Probably heard this a thousand times over already but I'm getting the same problem TR wolf had. I have been to every link on this post and downloaded the zip each time, extracted the saved game folders into the saved game directory along with the saveindex.ion file
Still nothing :( I have the JP Texture pack installed and I just installed the fidget animation thing if this info helps anyone aid me?
Was gonna pm TR but looks like he/she hasn't been active in a whiles
I am running the sold Out version I bought after downloading the game cause well I just had to buy it to own. it is version 1.1.
Thanks!

Try to delete the saveindex and start the game. It should create a new one with hopefully all saves included.

Thanks for comment firstly! I done as instructed, still no luck BUT I did notice however that there are 15 saved levels in the zip no? (excluding the 'Current Save' folder I don't know if that is where quick saves are ment to be?)
I copied all my saved games to an external folder before extracting new saves so they no longer appear in the game (I reckon that should be the desired effect any way) and I counted all the Saved Levels that appear in my load level screen...
Guess how many I got? 15! :o That's funny huh? However acording to the save dates the most recent loads me jusssst before you enter the cradle at the front door in the streets.
How many saved levels appear in everyone elses when they use this zip?? Cause maybe the index file is just a little taffered I'm supposing and really I 'do' have the level? Thanks :)
