Hold shift while clicking on the stack to move the entire thing.

Another question for you, helpful sir... when the snake lady teaches you the spell to use gate travel, is that spell supposed to actually show up in your spellbook? it isn't in mine... what runes does it use?

It doesn't show up in your spellbook, but it's written into your quest book - Mega Spacium.
