Hi. I've heard that My Documents in XP can be changed from its default location in C drive to another drive. I targetted the location on my external and I want to move it back. But when I right clicked the folder, it didn't have the same options (such as choosing the target location). All I see is the size and the path. This might have been a stupid thing to do, but I cut and then pasted the folder in My Computer\Documents & Settings\My Name\. To test whether the computer had updated its tags, I unplugged the external and then from the Start Menu I click on Documents. The window that opened up showed the path originating from the local drive (if that even made sense). But when I right click on it (I'm thinking of moving it again to another external with more space), the target options aren't being displayed. Do I just cut and paste again? It seems like it's not the right way to do it. Please help!

Easy way: Use TweakUI. Google for it.

That's the problem. Like I said, the target folder/location options aren't showing up.

Ah doh!, then the other option is to manually edit the paths in the registry..
