Well, the music isn't in-game, but the video looks pretty sweet. I just wish game designers these days could allow themselves to gradually move away from "in your face" type interfaces - immersion my ass. That new hud and the message box takes up the ENTIRE screen. Almost reminiscent of MGS2 where it's a shitload of movies and little gameplay. First designer out there that integrates fully customizeable interface elements is going to make every gamer out there his/her bitch. Otherwise, looks good.

You and I both know it's all about the AI though Nethawk. Good AI=convincing "I'm a stealth ninja" gameplay.
Looks nice though. And the body down the stairs was a nice demonstration.

Hard to feel like a ninja when all that shit is going on in your retina though. I may be bitching on and on for nothing, but holy shit I hope to high heaven that the devs included a transparency slider and a somewhat customizeable interface - as well as an option to get rid of the message pop-up display altogether. If they did and they simply haven't confirmed so yet, I kiss their feet and offer my apologies. I played the original DX last week and in terms of the UI, I found myself wondering which one is the sequel.:p

Us Pc gamers should be able to modify it anyway. Like the config changes that shrink the intrusive sheilds in Thief. Of course if you're a REAL ninja like me and not an "I play on normal-or-hard" pussy there are less to bug you anyway. :p

Not necesarily, because the interface changes by more then just it's scale if you were to shrink it. The rotating bit's need to change their radius as well.
I think the HUD looks damn cool, personally. It doesn't get in the way of what you can see at all, and it looks just like you're a augmented agent.

In that case, I hope the agency provides Alex with a seeing eye dog.:p

You know, I have never ever seen a comment from any gamer who has played the game at E3 that the HUD was intrusive. Every person I'e heard from has said that while palying the HUD just seemed to fade into the background.
