I killed those three things who were supposed to tell me about the riddles. Am I screwed or can I still complete the pilgrimage?

I hear that they will respawn in a couple days. Try sleeping (or adventuring) for a day or two, then returning.
I did the same thing (they are very easy to sneak up on!), but I had an earlier save.

It will. I killed the first one before I realized that Mt Kand meant the caverns, not some location outside. I thought I'd screwed up, but it respawned. Phew!
