Most odd... (Faction advancement)

I am master/head/... of House Hlaallu, the Fighter's Guild, the Morag Tong, the Temple, the Imperial Cult, the Mage's Guild... [Every joinable faction except the Thieves, Redoran and Telvanni, I believe]

But...the two I join in the main quest...I can advance in, according to my character sheet. But...I've almost finisahed the main quest; I've spoken to Vivec, but I want to max. my skills before assaulting Dagoth and his kin [The Nerevar was supposed to be a powerfull sod, wasn't he?].

How can I advance in the Blades and the Ashlanders? I think it glitched, and I should've already advanced, but... The Blades leader has returned to the imperial capital, the Ashlander wise woman doesn't respond to "Advance me now. Now I say!!" so...

Nah, there's no way to max out those two factions. Just the way it is.

That might be correct, in game, but is there a console command? I seem to recall there being one for other factions; will it work with these two? More precisely, will it absolutely bugger the game?

*chuckle* Well, I'd advise you to finish the main plot 1st, just in case, but yeah; just use the 'pcRaiseRank' command. I forget the exact phrasing for the Ashlanders, but the Blades should be something like this:
pcRaiseRank blades

Just jot down what the Ashlanders' faction name is, and try the same w/ them. Repeat until you're at your desired rank ;)
