I really should watch the X-Files on DVD one of these days. Pity that shit costs more than your mom.

Billy Connelly is the star power that the X-Files needs, obviously.

Theres always a requirement for a weird semi-sci-fi show on TV. Just look at lost. Honestly lost is overated. So was Twin Peaks, Eerie Indiana... Have you ever watched twin peaks? I mean I'm a crappy sci-fi nut and the show sucked, but I had the advantage of being like 8 when I saw it the first time.
In any case, I like Gillian Anderson as an actor, its kind of too bad the X files borked her carreer.

I'm looking forward to this because it's being done as a feature length stand alone episode, instead of more tedious X-Files mythology. And Chris Carter has dropped hints that a dead character (or characters) may be coming back in it. Here's hoping for the Lone Gunmen.

It comes on Sci-Fi and on TBS-HD (or TNT I always mix those 2 up).
I usually DVR them and watch the ones I remember.

It went south in the second season, but the first is some damn fine television that still holds up very well today.
