I tried out Complete Morrowind, but I had some difficulties too (i.e., it made Morrowind explode.) I had a lot of mods running, so it may have conflicted with something.

NPC Schedules - Scheduals
NPC Schedules - Locks
I can't find either of these mods--does anyone know where to look for them? Euro RPG is down. With all of these mods, I may finally be able to stop being anal-retentive with Morrowind and actually get immersed in it.

I think it goes by the alternate title "Living Cities of Vvardenfell", if that's any help. Search for it at the Summit, I know it's there, at least.
Back up your saves before using it though. It's great, but the changes it makes are numerous enough that bad stuff apparently happens if you remove it once it's in a save.

It's worth the time to zip your current Saves and Data Files folders both into one backup file and leave it in the Morrowind Folder. Then you can do whatever you want (add textures, remove them, add in new music, try out as many mods as you like, etc.) without fear of anything. If you make Morrowind explode like me, just delete Saves and Data Files and then unzip your backup. Nice and clean ;)
Oh, and I actually meant to ask if anyone figured out why "Complete Morrowind" never worked. Any idea, Shadowthief?

Could you post the mods that you use?

I had quite a bit of trouble getting this to work myself. It just never ran. Things wouldn't work, I couldn't cut down trees, use the cazy cool items (like the knife to make wood stuffs) so I ended up talking to the maker.
Seems that the mod HAS to be loaded LAST in the list, that Data Files list, or else things go boom. So I bumped it toe the bottom, along with the replacer (the replacers has to be after the Complete Morrowind base mod) and things worked out fairly well.
I've even managed to get working without it loading last.

You gentlemen may want to look at the recently released mod (
http://users.rcn.com/drac/mods/morrowind_crafting_houses.zip) Morrowind Crafting by Drac and Toccatta. I haven’t tried it myself (or Compete Morrowind for that matter), but it sounds like it has a number of elements in common with Complete Morrowind. There are undoubtedly differences between the two, but if the latter isn’t working for you at all, Morrowind Crafting would have to be the better choice.
