Hmm.. a few nices changes there, but it's all a bit
too colourful, and downright garish in places.
Talgor on 28/3/2004 at 16:11
Way too colourful... I mean, we're talking about Dunmer cities here, mostly. These are people who don't even do anything like laughing. ;)
And I personally never understood the need to insert totally irrelevant things into games. TV sets, cars, in a fantasy game?? What is this, The Sims? What's the point?
RyushiBlade on 28/3/2004 at 19:48
No no no, I think the point is that they aren't making it a fantasy game. Or atleast into a modern fantasy game.
And for what it's worth, that new textures mod is good... but... too much purple. (I did always think Morrowind was too dark though.)

Very nice.... though it won't do me any good since I'm on the "Box"
How's it effect the frame rate though?
Nanol on 31/3/2004 at 08:15
Apparently the frame rate is completely unaffected, says the author. I guess it'd be helpful to have a 128 meg card though.

I'm planning on upgrading my computer within the next year (most likely before the end of this one), going to build it part-by-part.
Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll get a copy of Morrowind for the PC once I've got one that runs it (I can spend a good long time playing just the GOTY version for my XBox, I've logged lots of hours and have hardly touched any of the expansion items).... but this is one add-on I'll have to look at installing if I do buy a PC version.
The colors look good (in addition to the more detail on the buildings and whatnot), I think I kinda like the redder color in Vivic, fitting, but still rather earthy (which is what I figure it's supposed to be, some sort of stone, plaster, and/or brick type of construction).

Thanks for the suggestions Nanol. I haven't played Morrowind in a while but these mods should mix it up a bit. I should be re-addicted in no time

Hi Nanol and Morrowind players:
I had a problem whereby all NPC’s would not see me. I could not talk to them. I had been cheating and using a few mods…
About 3-5 hours into the game this happened..
So, I want to uninstall and re-install my game, unless I can correct this otherwise.
few players have seen this happen.
What’s the best way to save my save games and journal entries?
I had the game patched and had Tribunal installed also.
Appreciate any pointers you have.
Thanks,
Bill Kranz

heya
i use the fantasy colour morrowind texture changer by brash and i love it. to me, it makes it much more fun. i wouldn't go back to the dun-brown morrowind again.
her fcm mod is separate from the MW4Kids mod she's made. and to me, everything looks like it should. trees have green leaves, grass is green, vivec is so much easier to navigate because now the area banners are tinted. and i like seeing flowers and critters that have some color to them.
anyway, that's one of the best things about mods. there's always something for everyone.
oh yeah, i have no hit at all from using it. i also use about 20 other mods, too and i manage 45-65 fps outside in cities and 200 fps indoors.
