I have been experimenting with the part of the morrowind.ini file labelled as [Light attenuation]
I have had luck working with all the values and methods in this section, but what I would really like to do is tune the Ambient value that infuses the entire game, and especially in Interior rooms. I would like to see what the game looks like with nothing but calculated light from lanterns, torches, candles, etc. In regions where there is no direct lighting I would like them to be completely black.
Morrowind.ini does not contain the tools I need to change this value. I will either have to use a console command or the TES Construction Set. How should I go about this?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not certain, but someone must know:
''I suggest that the Morrowind.ini file is adjusted, with each Ambient Night colour halfed from the normal value (do not change the Ashstorm or Blight ambient night colours). This allows exterior lighting to actually make more of an impact.
Also, do NOT use quadratic lighting. This MOD has been designed to use the default Linear method.''
