I once loaded out the game for a week and i went through withdrawls. At school, i have made 3 different websites about morrowind. I am working on a Large site about it at home. Hello.
A wise man once spake unto the thronged masses "All things in moderation".
I used to go *way* overboard with D&D, MUDs and now PC games. I've got two eye conditions and three bust-ups with serious girlfriends to show for the dedication to my hobbies. It's not that my life ended in the gutter (far from it), I just wish I had behaved differently.
Although the immersive virtual worlds proffered through games such as Morrowind are engaging, DON'T LET IT HARM YOUR CONDITION. Respect the game, and respect yourself too.
"Condition" means your health physically and mentally, and your relationships with others. Scale back your time commitment if:
* you're spending more than three hours per gaming session. Occupational health and safety rules are adopted by most firms where employees use PCs - save your eyes and back by adopting the same rules. RSI, curvature of the spine and myopia are serious problems. Treat your body right.

* you're getting less than six hours sleep a night. Sleep deprivation will lead to serious physical and mental problems.

* your family or friends ask why they don't see much of you. Although NPCs are fun in the game, they're not worth the electrons they're formed from in comparison to real people.
If you're anything like me, then the easiest (only!) way to scale back your time commitment in one hobby is to find another. This sounds a bit backwards, but even ephedrine users only have 24 hours in a day. Find something that gets you exercise or more time with family/friends - preferably both - and you'll protect your body and mind.
Here endeth the lesson - apologies for the sermon.

Don't worry about it. You'll slow down eventually.... in a decade or two that is. :cheeky:

I actually may have to see someone due to curvature of the spine. Not sure if I have it - or the start of it - but I've noticed some irritating sensations when just standing or even sleeping in normal positions. And I know that when I was really playing Morrowind (and ghost recon) a lot, I was leaning over a bit too strongly towards the monitor and disregarding a healthy spinal alignment. Hopefully in its early stages it's reversable. In any case, I'm going to see my chiropractor asap.:p
