i got the game now and its brill.RyushiBlade how did you get 100 000 and how do you get your reputation because im now horror of the high seas lol
What part are you stuck on?
because im on the bit where iv just got over throne by the storm landed on an island then i have just got a boat of a pirate and met up with my old officers

I'm on the part that's coming up, the battle at Fort Greenford.
I borrowed a lot of money and at first to buy bigger ships. Then go to merchant stores and ask for a job. With four battle ships your getting more than 80,000 gold a go and they're all simple jobs.
To raise your reputation, go to a church and donate. I wen to the one in Falaise de Fleur. Oh, and get the map from their website, it helps a lot.

here my advice.....im doing the same mission and i borded a battle ship 200,000 because if you get 80,000 little ships the fort just sinks them and what a waste of money that is and the officers you assign to the ships have the be good of firing other wise they dont do much when fighting other ships and forts.
Battle ship:10 000 armor
70 cannons
but on the down side it needs one hell of a lot of crew:( round about 650
im still stuck on the tht mission i attack it,then when i all most die i run and repair...and carry on with that tactic

I think the fort 'heals' everytime you leave. And I've got plenty of money. All the battleships have good captains, all have full crew (and highest morale.) It cost me a ton of money and if I keep the ships equipped until payday, a lot of people are going to hate me... hehe...

iv only come up with one tactic.....as i have the best cannon on the game with the longest range the cunvirine cannon (sp) i think ill try and beat it with my range advantage ;)

My problem is my other ships run away from the battle, even when I command them to stay.

lol so i guess we both looking buggerd...ill tell you when iv completed it yet but there one good thing about this mission i havnt spoke to that girl yet about the mission plan so she follows me round every where and shes in the mission slot and she carnt get killed :cheeky: so i just bord big battle ships with her and let her do al the work.
At the moment im just going around getting my main officer stronger

I thought I'd beaten Greenford... but... it turned out I'd attacked and destroyed the wrong fort ^.^
That's almost a Jack Sparrow mistake right there, hehe.

lol i carnt belive you took out the wrong fort.....im going around trying to steal another battle ship......but i think ill stick with my range tactic....:thumb:

I can't beat the pirates on the battle ships... I can sink them no trouble. The best ship I've taken was a class.. 3. Maybe 4. Anyway, after getting a few of those, I sold them and now have 4 battleships.
