They're taking applications to host gnomey in batches, and the first batch has already been confirmed, so no further applications are possible at the mo which is why nothing happened when you clicked on the link. When the gnome has done his first round of travels they'll be asking for the next lot of volunteers so you'll be able to join in then (I assume it'll be announced on the TTLG website network forums) It could be a while though, there's about ten people to go on the first list yet and the gnome seems to be spending quite a while in each place.....

Since there's about 20 games in that particular offer, the number of possible combinations I could have picked are staggering.

Just out of interest DannyClein, where did you get them from? Sod's Law - my local Virgin Megastore has run out of NOLF2, and my local HMV has run out of Morrowind, so i'm stuck at the moment. Which is A Bad Thing indeed. Hrhrm.

I got 'em from HMV (Liverpool).
Was gonna get Arx Fatalis and Mafia for 30 quid from Virgin too, but they'd sold out of the latter (no surprise I suppose).

Stainboy, have you tried looking on e-bay? There are quite a few copies of Morrowind for sale at the mo and you may be able to get one fairly cheaply.
Also, off-topic here, but Danny, did you go to Lancaster University by any chance?

w00t! Finally found the bugger yesterday - an absolute bargain at £15. It seems to run okay - i'll have to whack it down to 640x480 to get a 20+fps rate, but with graphics like these, i'm not complaining. :D
But whilst i'm on the subject of performance, I read in a PCGamer review that there are certain "hacks" which disable the disc-checking, and provide a huge performance boost. It's probably against the forum rules, but could anyone point me in the direction of one? It's not like i'm playing illegally or anything, and i'd like to eke out as much power as I can get.
Anyway, cheers guys - you should be seeing more of me in this neck of the woods in future. :)

Welcome on board. Stainboy! I hope you enjoy Morrowind.
As for the performance boost, there's a pinned thread at the top of this very forum whoch tell you how to obtain it, and it's been OK'd by kathode too, who was one of the developers on Morrowind, so it's above board. Last time I checked the link was broken though....maybe Striker or someone could tell you how to get it?
Edit: wait, that thread seems to have disappeared....hmm, dunno then. Sorry :erg:
